“Sinéad O’Connor has gotten me through all of my breakups,” my partner Rebekah told me today, “from age 18 on up. And if you and I divorced, I’d go back to her again.”

That’s the kind of fire the Irish singer would have appreciated.

Aaron, her song Troy carried me through numerous trials and tribulations in my life when it came out. Her tearing up the Pope’s picture was an early cry for the masses. RIP.
