What a great article and a nice tribute to Micah and the Sac music scene of the late 80's to mid 90's. Tiki Men played at our wedding. 😊

Very cool! That's a memorable wedding. I'm glad you dug the story and appreciate you writing to let me know! I'm going to publish my full Tiki Men story here in this Substack series in a few weeks, btw.

Wow, I'll have to check it out. Everyone danced through their set, young and old. It was a wonderful gift from some great guys. Those were fun times. Love Ed Carroll and Miller. 😊

This piece brought back a lot of memories of the life I was living in Vancouver, B.C. in the mid to late 90's. Even the affordability of it was completely different than now. You could rent a house or a decent heritage house for a good price and work odd jobs and make art. It made cities like these a welcoming home for all kinds of people that are being railroaded out to God knows where. Not to be too sentimental, as a sort of old guy I appreciated this a lot. Great Sunday reading.
