I was at that Boston's show. I'll never forget the unmerciful heckling openers Dillinger Escape Plan received, the torrential downpour that occurred between the bands, and everybody yelling random bits of pop culture waiting for Bungle to take the stage ("Ernest Goes to Camp!" "Ernest Goes to Jail!" "Ernest Saves Christmas!").

Great article Aaron! Saw them four times here in Australia. 2 shows DV tour & 2 for California. Wanted to ask if you have a spare DV sticker from the $2 scam offer? I am missing one - pink one with front cover image.

Wow, this was epic, Aaron! Saw Mr. Bungle at the 9:30 Club in 1992. Was totally obsessed with the debut album and Lynch's Blue Velvet yet Patton's bondage mask was still shocking. I remember reading a FNM interview in NME that summer that Epic didn't catch on until after FNM had already released the record and toured the US and then they had to basically do it all over again. I always wondered if that bizarre hood and coveralls combo was a form of penance for the excess of those FNM tours.
